Since becoming engaged I have had the most wonderful time planning things, looking for that perfect invitation or table plan, I have spent hours and hours pouring over wedding blogs trying to gain inspiration for what I want our room to look like on the day.... I have found someone that will dress the room for me who is locally based and she will do what I want basically, I am unsure?
Funnily enough my favourite wedding blog site is Rock my Wedding and today the lovely Lolly from RMW posted this link and I wondered if any of you who have already had you Wedding Day had any tips for me.... Would you have done anything differently?
Did you style your room or did you have someone dress it?
Is less more?
Did you have a lot of time or not enough to organise everything?

Now I know none of you would regret your W-Days but if there was just one thing you could have done differently or changed what would it be?

And if you can't answer me take a minute to peruse the pages of RMW... It will make you want to get married all over again!

I don't know about any other Brides to be, but I have recently become obsessed with lists!
I always have like shopping lists, at work to do lists, at home, DIY to do lists etc in normal life but this wedding has taken list making to a whole new level for me!

At the very beginning My man and I sat down and initially wrote a list of guests. The most important being family and main bridal party, then the second round of guests to invite and then the third... We are catering for 120 at our wedding as we know so many people between us and well... my family are massive! I have re-written these lists several times, in order of importance and then alphabetically and then when we sent our emails last week to family/main bridal party I have started making a list of people who have told us that they have booked. I have also asked for another list from the hotel so that I can compare their list to mine!

Obsessed you say? Possibly addicted OCD list maker!

We also have a list of things we need to book/do over the next few months, I have tried to do this list chronologically and have great satisfaction in putting a wonderful tick next to the things we have managed to accomplish. That is so exciting for me right now!

To be honest I could make a list of the lists I have but I do think that maybe taking things just a tiny bit too far........

My Man & I have had some wonderful weekends, which have left me no time to update!
To be fair, not much wedding stuff has been happening... Only one exciting development so far.

Saturday before last we popped down to visit my Aunt and Uncle, with a very important question for my Aunt.  I have asked her if, in place of my Dad (who at the moment is not coming to our wedding) she will walk me down the aisle. I am delighted to report that she said yes which is just fabulous. She is my Dad's sister so on the right side of the family to do it!
My Uncles/Brothers/cousins all have daughters of their own that they will eventually walk down the aisle so why not let someone who would not usually have the chance!
Obviously the difficult question of my Dad still remains unanswered for now but Aunty B will step aside should he deign change his mind.
I have a few more people that I wish to ask to be involved in my wedding as more than a guest, which I can now get around to doing now that important role is filled.

On a personal note it was my Mum's birthday on April 1st. I did have a bit of an emotional day but so many things were happening it just all got on top.
I would like to apologise to anyone that was caught in the tidal wave of emotion, it has passed and I can breathe again. I need to keep those feeling in check!

Anyway, we raised a glass of Cava to toast the fabulous lady as did most of the family - Happy Birthday Mum xXx

I hope everyone had a lovely long Easter bank holiday weekend, ours was filled with friends, family, love and alcohol! That's what bank holidays are for :-)
